Thomastik-Infeld Spirit! Strings have a Steel spiral rope and solid carbon-steel core.

Sound is defined as warm and complex, with rich overtones and moderate projection.

  • All strings have a ball-end.
  • The Medium SP400 set contains the following strings:
    • A-, D-Chrome/carbon-steel, and G-, C- Chrome/Rope core.
Available in sets and as individual strings in 4/4, 3/4, and 1/2 sizes.

In 1919 luthier Dr. Franz Thomastik and engineer Otto Infeld made a revolution with the first ever replacement for gut strings, with steel core. Being innovative and following musicians needs, in 1970 yet a new revolution was made with introduction of Dominant violin strings, with perlon nylon, first ever synthetic core.
