Thomastik-Infeld Belcanto Solo strings have a steel rope core and chrome-steel wound.

Sound is defined as smooth and direct, with very intensive projection.

In 1919 luthier Dr. Franz Thomastik and engineer Otto Infeld made a revolution with the first ever replacement for gut strings, with steel core.
