Pirastro Passione strings have a high-tensile carbon-steel rope core wounded with chrome-steel.

Sound is defined as rounded and warm, with powerful projection.

  • Suitable for Arco playing; All strings have a ball-end.
  • The ORCHESTRA set contains the following strings:
    • G-, D-, A- and E-, available in 3/4 size in Medium and Heavy tension.
  • Additional strings are:
    • E-(extended 2.1 m, medium and heavy tension) and B5-string(medium only).
The SOLO set contains the following strings: A-, E-, B- and F#-, available in 3/4 (also, fits 4/4).
Strings are sold in sets or individually.
