Stentor Conservatoire I 1550 and II 1560 Violin Outfits are beginner-level instruments with bow and playing essentials in a lightweight oblong case.

The tone on these instruments is brilliant and rounded, with powerful projection.

Professionally shop-adjusted and set up at our own TEO Musical Instruments workshop, with an adequate solid maple bridge and fitted soundpost.

The difference between Conservatoire I and II are in the tailpiece and hand-picked material. Model I have Original Stentor integrated fine-tuners and model II has Wittner Ultra Tailpiece with better-flamed maple.

  • Excellent quality carved solid spruce top, with solid maple bent sides, carved back and neck.
  • Darker red-brown colour, matte-satin Shellax varnished (Slight colour variation possible through hand varnishing).
  • Hand-made, with inlaid purfling and ebony fingerboard. 
  • Available in 4/4 size.
