Pirastro Flat-Chromesteel Original strings have a high-tensile carbon-steel rope core wounded with chrome-steel.

Sound is defined as very brilliant and rounded, with powerful projection.

  • Suitable for Arco playing; All strings have a ball-end.
The ORCHESTRA set contains the following strings: G-, D-, A- and E-, available in 3/4 (also, fits 4/4) size in Medium tension. Additional strings are: E-(extended 2.1 m) and B5-string.
The SOLO set contains the following strings: A-, E-, B- and F#-, available in 3/4 (also, fits 4/4) size. Additional strings are: C#- strings.
Strings are sold in sets or individually.
