Ivan Dunov Standard VL401 and Upgraded VL402 Violins are Guarneri models, intermediate-level instruments.

The tone on these instruments is subtle and textured to complex, with rich overtones and intensive projection.

Professionally shop-adjusted and set up at our own TEO Musical Instruments workshop, with adequate solid ** maple bridge and fitted soundpost.

Excellent selected quality Carpathian carved solid spruce top, with solid, well-flamed Carpathian maple bent sides, carved back and neck.

Upgrade to VL402 with selected better-grained spruce and quite well-flamed maple.
  • Warm brown shaded with amber and gold tones colour, antiqued shaded, hand-applied spirit varnish (Slight colour variation possible through hand varnishing).
  • Hand-made, with inlaid purfling and ebony fingerboard.
  • Available in 4/4 size.
  • Designed, developed in ROMANIA, by Luthier Ivan Dunov, and produced in CHINA.
  • Strings: Thomastik Dominant Strings or similar.
  • Tailpiece: Ebony French style with E-string fine tuner or Black composite Wittner with 4 integrated fine-tuners.
  • Pegs: Ebony, French style.
