Jean Pierre Lupot VA501 Viola is a Stradivari model, an intermediate-level instrument.

The tone on these instruments is dark and clear, with powerful projection.

Professionally shop-adjusted and set up at our own TEO Musical Instruments workshop, with adequate solid ** maple bridge and fitted soundpost.

Excellent quality carved European solid spruce top, with solid, well-flamed maple bent sides, carved back and neck.

  • Warm amber-red shaded with gold tones colour, antiqued shaded, hand-applied spirit varnish (Slight colour variation possible through hand varnishing).
  • Hand-made, with inlaid purfling and ebony fingerboard.
  • Available in 16" and 16.5" sizes.
  • Designed, developed by Luthier Jean Pierre Lupot and produced in CHINA.
  • Strings: Thomastik Vision Strings.
  • Tailpiece: Black composite Wittner with 4 integrated fine-tuners, or Ebony French style with boxwood accent and A-string fine tuner.
  • Pegs: Ebony with the golden accent, French style.
  • Chinrest: Ebony, Guarneri style.
