Pirastro Piranito strings have a single filament steel core.

Sound is defined as very bright and clear, with moderate response.

  • All strings have a ball-end.
  • The standard set contains the following strings:
    • E-steel, A-Aluminum/steel, D- and G-Chrome-steel/steel.

  • An Alternative Set is with an altered A-string to an Aluminum wound on the steel core for a brighter A-string.  

Available in 4/4, 3/4 (fits also 1/2), 1/4 (fits also 1/8) and 1/16 (fits also 1/32).
Strings are sold in sets or individually.
