Thomastik-Infeld Spirocore Tuning in 5th strings has a steel spiral core and chrome-steel wound.

Sound is defined as direct and focused, with very powerful projection.

  • All strings have a ball-end.
  • The Medium 3985,0 set contains the following strings:
    • A-, D-, G- and  C- Chrome-steel/spiral (3985,2; 3985,3; 3985,4; 3985,5).
Also, available in a Medium set Long 4/4 size.
Strings are sold in sets or individually.

In 1919 luthier Dr. Franz Thomastik and engineer Otto Infeld made a revolution with the first ever replacement for gut strings, with steel core.
