This outfit includes Eastman's Rudolf Deutsch VA701 Viola, a German-made Joseph Richter better-quality silver-mounted Brazilwood round viola bow, and an Eastman Dart viola case.

Rudolf Deutsch VA701 Viola

An intermediate-level instrument, the Stradivari model.  The tone on these instruments is warm and focused, with very intense projection.

Professionally shop-adjusted and set up at our own TEO Musical Instruments workshop, with an adequate, solid ** maple bridge and fitted soundpost.

Excellent quality carved European solid spruce top, with solid, well-flamed maple bent sides, carved back and neck.

      • Warm amber-red shaded with gold tones colour, antiqued shaded, hand-applied spirit varnish (Slight colour variation possible through hand varnishing).
      • Hand-made, with inlaid purfling and ebony fingerboard.
      • Available in 15", 15.5", and 16" size.
      • Designed and developed by Luthier Rudolf Deutsch, produced in CHINA.
      • Strings: Thomastik Dominant Strings.
      • Tailpiece: Black composite Wittner with 4 integrated fine-tuners, or ebony French style with an A-string fine tuner.
      • Pegs: Ebony, French-style.
      • Chinrest: Ebony, Guarneri style.
