Thomastik-Infeld Rondo strings have a synthetic core.

Sound is defined as subtle and textured with rich overtones, with powerful projection.

  • A-, D-, and G-strings have a ball-end, while E- strings have a removable ball-end.
  • The Medium RO100 set contains the following strings: 
    • E- Tin plated carbon-steel core, A-Aluminum/synthetic, D- and G-Silver/synthetic; Variation: A-Chrome/carbon-steel for brighter tone.
Available in 4/4 size.
Strings are sold in sets or individually.

In 1919 luthier Dr. Franz Thomastik and engineer Otto Infeld made a revolution with the first ever replacement for gut strings, with steel core.
