Thomastik-Infeld Vision Solo strings have a synthetic core.

Sound is defined as focused and brilliant, with powerful projection.

  • A-, D-, and G-strings have a ball-end, while E- strings have a removable ball-end.
  • The standard VIS100 set contains the following strings:
    • E- tin-plated carbon-steel, A- and D- aluminum/synthetic and G-silver/synthetic for warmer tone;
  • The alternative VI101 set contains the following strings:

    • E- tin-plated carbon-steel, A-, aluminum/synthetic, D- and G-silver/synthetic for a more brilliant tone.

Available in 4/4 size.
Strings are sold in sets or individually.

In 1919 luthier Dr. Franz Thomastik and engineer Otto Infeld made a revolution with the first ever replacement for gut strings, with steel core.
