Pirastro Chorda strings are natural plain gut strings.

Sound is defined as mild projection, warm and subtle, authentic for baroque music.

  • The Standard set is recommended for A440Hz, although we suggest using a thicker gauge for A415Hz.
  • An A- and D- strings come as plain, without a knot, while G- and C-strings have knot-end.
  • The Standard medium set contains the following strings:
    • A-plain gut 21, D-Plain gut 29, G-Silver-copper (silver-plated copper, unpolished wound on a gut core) 27 1/2 and C-Silver-copper 36.
Available in 4/4 size.
Strings are sold in sets or individually.
