Pirastro Chorda strings are natural plain gut strings.
Sound is defined as mild projected, warm and subtle.

The Standard set is recommended for an A440Hz, we suggest using a thicker gauge for an A415Hz.

  • An A- and D- strings come as plain, without a knot, while G- and C-strings have a knot-end.
  • The Standard medium set contains the following strings:
    • A-plain gut 14 1/2, D-Plain gut 19, G-Silver-copper (silver plated copper unpolished wound on a gut core) 16 1/2 and C-Silver-copper 22 1/2.
  • Variations are:
    • D-strings have 2 stages of different gauges that you can choose individually.
Available in 15"-16" size.
Strings are sold in sets or individually.
