Pirastro Oliv strings have a natural gut core.

Sound is defined as moderate well-balanced projection, brilliant and complex, with rich overtones.

  • G- and C-strings have a knot-end, while A- and D- strings have a ball-end.
  • The Standard medium set contains the following strings:
    • A-aluminum 13 3/4, D-Gold-Aluminum 16 1/4, G-Gold-silver 17 and C-Tungsten-Silver 19 3/4.
  • Variations are:
    • D-Silver comes as an alteration for richer overtones.
    • Strings have up to 5 stages of different gauges that you can choose individually.
    • For darker, warmer powerful sound with an easy response, use Oliv "Stiff" D- and G-strings and Eudoxa-Oliv "Stiff" C-strings alterations, sold individually.
Available in 15"-16" size.
Strings are sold in sets or individually.
