Sound is defined as subtle and textured with rich overtones, with a powerful projection.

  • D-, G-, and C- strings have a ball-end, while A-strings have a removable ball-end.

In 1919 luthier Dr. Franz Thomastik and engineer Otto Infeld made a revolution with the first ever replacement for gut strings, with steel core.
